Rotary Ski Weekend Steamboat Springs!

Thursday I did not go to school, at 8:30 AM I left my house and I reached Torben in Loveland, where we left headed to Straboat Springs. We arrived at 2 PM and had some (disgusting) Apple Crisp, while we were waiting for the others to come. At 4 PM they arrived, one after the other. They placed me in one house with Enzo, the new guy from Argentina, Seba, Oscar and the new guy from Australia, Ellit. We ate pizza and played pool.

At six thirty in the morning we had to wake up to be able to be at the resort at 8. We had a rich breakfast, me and Enzo ate pancakes, meat, bacon and eggs.

I decided to take lessons, so I went with Giulia. The other guys had to ski for the first time so they had an other instructor. Torben, Enzo and Kevin tried snowboard for the first time.

During my lesson I skiied a little bit with Irem and Lena too. For lunch we went to the top of the mountain, the view while we were on the gondola was amazing! After lunch my instructor wanted to ski down to reach the base of the area, me and Giulia looked at each other like "are you kidding, right?" but we made it! We did greens and one blue. We also bumped into each other and fell on the snow like potatoes. Also, when I had less than 10 minutes to reach the base, a guy was going way to fast and to not bump into him I fell in a plant.. you had to see me. People came by "are you okay?" "oh yea, thanks tho" I wasn't, I had to take out the skies to come back.

At the base the other guys tried to convince me to ski more but me and Giulia did not want to, so we took out the boots: wearing my comfy vans after a full day of skiing was awesome.

We came back to the house to take shower and then we reached the girls for dinner. Some of the guys stayed at the resort for the ski night.

Saturday we had a meeting for the trips, BELO USA's trips are so awesome, it will be so much fun. The new guys had their orientation and we went downtown to eat lunch. we had one hour and a half to eat but we ended up to eat only ten minutes before the actual time we had to be back. 

Then we went to Hot Springs and stayed something like 2 hours and a half in the hot tub. We came back to the house and at 6 PM we took the gondola all the way up, where we had lunch Friday, to eat dinner. There was a Western Barbecue, it was so much fun. We ate and danced.

Since it was the last night we had together, we stayed up late, chatting and playing pool.

Sunday it was hard to leave, but we had too. I cannot believe that we have just 2 or 3 meetings left. Everytime that I see them we become more close. Saturday they said that, "It is forever.",

Also yesterday I finished to work on the video, after like 4 hours, and I posted it on YouTube.

Today it's halfway for me, 165 days that I'm here and 165 left before I will be back in Milan.
